An action aimed at increasing road safety was organized on Thursday, November 6, by police officers. The activities were carried out between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, in order to monitor how hypo trailers comply with visibility conditions. In this context, police officers from the Road Service, the Public Order Service, the Municipal Police, the Town Police, the Rural Police Stations and Stations were involved, monitoring areas and sections of road with a high risk of accidents, in which drivers of trailers could be involved. In the three hours of action, the police officers identified and found over 90 road violations, for which sanctions totaling approximately 5,000 lei were applied. Of these identified violations, 82 minor sanctions were applied to drivers of hypo trailers.
- ” Also during the checks carried out, the police tested the drivers of the vehicles for alcohol consumption, and in two situations the results were positive, the two drivers having a blood alcohol level of 0.43 mg/l and 0.71 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. We would like to point out that such actions, aimed at discouraging serious violations of the road traffic regulations, will be organized in the coming period as well, to ensure an appropriate climate of public safety and to reduce the number of road accidents, ” stated the Brașov IJP.
