A house in the village of Lovnic was consumed by flames on the morning of November 7, 2025, and the family that lived there was left with absolutely nothing. There are eight people who were left on the streets, six children and their parents: a 10-year-old girl, two boys aged 15 and 17, and three young men aged 19, 21 and 23. The mayor of the commune of Jibert is appealing to good people to help this family.
- ” Those who want to lend a helping hand can donate clothes, shoes, furniture, dishes, blankets, a stove, food or other household necessities. Donations can be brought to the Mill in Lovnic, where the family will be temporarily accommodated. Those who want to help can also contact the mayor or deputy mayor of Jibert commune. We thank all of you who prove, once again, that solidarity and humanity define the community!” communicates Ștefăniță Pătea, the mayor of Jibert .
