The police are investigating the death of a 43-year-old man from the town of Avrig, found hanged on Saturday morning in an annex of his home, after announcing in a Facebook broadcast that he intended to commit suicide, informs the Sibiu Messenger.
- ” On November 8, the Sibiu County Police Inspectorate was notified, by calling the single emergency number 112, of the fact that, in an annex of a building in the city of Avrig, a male person was found hanged. A police team went to the scene, which found that the reported aspects were confirmed. The person was found without vital signs, being identified as a 43-year-old man, residing in the city of Avrig”, stated the spokesperson for the Sibiu County Police Inspectorate, Isabela Brad.
According to the cited source, ” the man’s body was transported to the morgue of the Sibiu County Hospital, in order to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death .”
Investigations are being continued by the Avrig City Police, within a criminal case filed under the aspect of committing the crime of manslaughter, to establish the exact circumstances in which the event occurred.
