A scandal that occurred in the town of Poiana Mărului resulted in the arrest of two men, who ended up in the custody of the Brașov IJP.
- „On November 10 this year, the police officers from the Zărnești Rural Police Station were notified by two men from the locality of Poiana Mărului, who reported that, the previous day, at around 11:00 p.m., while they were together with two other known people and were drinking alcohol, a spontaneous conflict had occurred. In response to the notification received by the police officers, an operational team was formed, and following the investigations carried out to date, it was established that, among the four men, all from the same locality, there had been a conflict due to alcohol consumption, so that, following the altercation, two of them were allegedly assaulted, causing physical injuries,” informed the spokesperson for the Brașov IPJ, Chief Inspector Daniel Zontea.
The two men, aged 21 and 28, suspected of committing the assault, were detained for a period of 24 hours and taken to the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of the Brașov Public Prosecutor’s Office. The police are continuing their investigation into the commission of the crimes of assault or other violence.
