Reţeta săptămânii: Falafel

Ingredients:

  • 250 g chickpeas
  • 1/2 bunch chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • oil for frying

 Preparation method:

Boil the chickpeas in water with a little salt, drain and place in a food processor. Add all the ingredients and blend until a fine paste is obtained. From the paste obtained, shape meatballs by hand and fry in hot oil until evenly browned on all sides. Remove to a bowl lined with absorbent paper. Serve with rice, tomato sauce or mashed potatoes or celery.
