The modernization of public lighting on the main streets in all villages of Jibert commune was completed during this period. Thus, the villages of Jibert, Dacia, Lovnic, Grânari and Văleni will have modern public lighting through the project „Improving the efficiency of the public lighting system” carried out by Jibert City Hall.
- ” The project is 100% financed by the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM). The total investment value is 999,005 lei, money entirely from non-reimbursable funds. No money was used from the local budget, ” explained the mayor of Jibert commune, Ștefăniță Pîtea.
Through this project, 291 modern lighting fixtures with LED technology were installed on the main streets in the villages of Jibert, Dacia, Lovnic, Grânari and Văleni.
- „,, The new LED lamps bring stronger and more uniform lighting, significantly reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs and increase the safety and comfort of residents. This project was only possible for the main streets, according to the financing conditions. But we are not stopping here, we are going to submit a new project to expand modern public lighting on all streets in the commune, so that every resident benefits from the same conditions, ” added Mayor Ștefăniță Pîtea.
