- 225 ml milk
- 125 g melted butter
- 1 egg
- 250g sugar
- the juice of half a lemon
- 250 g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 vial of vanilla essence
- 2 sachets vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 400 g grapes
- 150 g coarsely chopped walnuts
- oil
Preparation method
Mix the eggs with a pinch of salt, then add the sugar and continue mixing until a consistent meringue is obtained. Then incorporate the flour. Add the baking powder, lemon juice, milk, butter, vanilla sugar and vanilla essence, stirring continuously. Place the grapes in a tray and bake for 10 min. Pour the mixture into a tray greased with oil and lined with flour, and place the grapes on top from place to place. Bake for 30 min. Remove the cake from the oven, leave to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar and coarsely ground nuts. Cut into squares and serve cold.
